follow the Steps provided below to install your e-mail POP3 user access settings for . . 
Microsoft Outlook 2000

Move your mouse pointer over the image and where it turns into a hand (generally an area with red marking) click the left mouse button to go to the next screen down


To open Outlook, double click on the icon on your desktop,
on your Taskbar (next to the Start button)
Or go to Start then Programs then Outlook
click here
Open Outlook and click Tools
click here
Click on Accounts to view the list of e-mail accounts
Click Here
You will now see a list of all e-mail accounts Outlook has been configured for
Make sure the account you want to edit is highlighted and then click Properties
If you do not have an account setup, then click Add to create a new e-mail account
click hereConnectionAdvanced
Type your name as you would like it to appear on the email you send.
Please make sure that you fill in your e-mail address correctly.
If you wish for people replying to your emails to send them to a different address, put that address in the field maked "Reply address". Otherwise, leave it blank as shown.
Next you will need to check the server settings, click on the tab marked Servers highlighted below.

The server settings for checking your e-mail
should be filled in exactly as provided by your ISP or Mail Server Administrator
If you are on a Network you may need to check with the System Administrator for special requirements.
Your username should be filled in using the Upper and Lower case as supplied.
Your password will be shown as *'s for security reasons.
Check the Remember password box as shown if you do not want to type the password evey time
Next you will need to check the connection options. Click on Connection as highlighted below.

Your connection screen may look like the one above.
Choose Connect using my modem and then
choose the connection you have made in Use the following Dial-Up Networking connection.
Advanced users may wish to set their connection to LAN for multiple email accounts.
Please click on Advanced to see the correct default settings which should not be changed.

This is what your Advanced settings should ALWAYS look like.
If these are changed you might not be able to send and/or recieve mail.
Click on OK to go back to the Accounts list.
Add new accountcheck Settings
You have now setup a mail account in Outlook 2000
